Fine drive from Fisichella
Finished 8th

A disappointing start from Jordan turned into a fantastic run out by Giancarlo Fisichella. Despite not finishing in the points, the Honda engine stood up well on the fastest track of the year.
Fisi started from 14th place fell back at the start, however on a single stop strategy the car was clearly weighed down with a very full tank. Fisi ran for 36 laps before coming in for fuel to the end of the race. Running up in 7th, a mistake at the first chicane allowed David Coulthard to overtake and demote Fisi back to 8th.
Takuma faired less well ending the race 1 lap down in 12th place. Taku was running the same fuel load as Giancarlo but couldn't capitalise on the pit stop strategy indeed loosing a number of places spinning off the circuit at the second chicane.
Whatever the result, it was obvious that Honda have made an effort with the engines. With two races left as a Honda powered team, we can only hope for a better result at Indianapolis.
