30/11/02 - Takuma Sato's grip on the second seat at Jordan for 2003 looks less and less tight as the off season grinds on. The BBC's website has suggested that another candidate for the second seat at Jordan is Arrows driver Enrique Bernoldi.

Enrique is sponsored by Red Bull who sponsored him when he was with Sauber as their test driver and followed him to Arrows.  Red Bull have a large commitment in the sport, sponsoring Sauber as well as a program to bring American drivers into the European racing formulas and of course Formula One.

Jordan lost a huge chunk of their budget when Deutsche Post pulled out of the team.  They are understood to have been in talks with Eddie Irvine, Felipe Massa and now Enrique.  This sites message board suggests that Pedro de la Rosa has also been in touch with the team.

Typically Jordan have been quite over these rumours and can't announce their team for quite a while.  Jordan are yet to announce a launch date for the EJ13 and will probably announce their driver line up at the launch.
