Jordan drivers Giancarlo Fisichella and Ralph Firman have competed the Friday Qualifying session in 14th and 18th places respectively. The team struggled again with the aerodynamic setup of the car. The car has been suffering with oversteer, making it difficult to control in atrocious conditions.

“I’m very disappointed." said Gary Anderson. "One way or another we weren’t able to get on top of it today but we are working hard to make sure we fulfil our potential this weekend.”.

“I’m not too happy with how it went.  The car had a lot of oversteer during the lap and the grip was not good - I don’t know why. I’m hoping for a better day tomorrow.” Said Fisichella.

Ralph Firman put a more positive spin on things.  Ralph who is still learning the F1 ropes has only ever driven the car in the wet once previously.  “We had quite a bit of oversteer and qualifying was only my second timed lap in the rain.  I’m looking forward to tomorrow.” He said.

Conditions look better for the Saturday Qualifying session.
