Jordan getting ready for Monaco

Concerned about the lack of F1 on the Sunday, Eddie Jordan wants the Friday Morning test session moved to the Sunday morning before the race.

Jordan feels that the Sunday warm-up which has now disappeared has robbed the viewing public of one more chance to see an F1 car in action.

The cost of a ticket to the Grand Prix at Silverstone this year is £95.00 for admission only.  The ticket doesn't even guarantee a seat.  Most fans who visit the circuit on Sunday are only there for the Grand Prix.  Two hours out of the day.  There is little interest in the support races amongst the general public.

Jordan feels that Friday should be a day for the Media.  Saturday should be there to provide qualifying and up to four sessions of F1 and then Sunday should consist of at least a warm up session and the race.

Meanwhile, Gary Anderson has said that the EJ13 simply isn't fast enough.  Monaco should be a good race for the team given Giancarlo's total love of the circuit. However Anderson feels that the underpowered car will not be able to give Fisi the push between the kerb's of Monaco's street circuit.

Jordan have new aerodynamic parts for the car in an attempt to cure the chronic steering problems that have plagued the car since the beginning of the season.   With any luck, Monaco should be a good day for the team with Ralph Firman who is an accomplished street race winner in Macau.
