Nick puts Jordan up a gear.
Pushing Hard

Nick Heidfeld stepped Jordan up a gear when he finished a rain sodden testing session in Spain in third place overall. Nick lapped the Jerez circuit in 1:26.59, just over a second behind the Ferrari of Luca Badoer.
The day wasn't without incident. Nick span the EJ13 on a number of occasions as did Jarek Janis who ran for a second day. Jordan's testing team were hoping for dryer conditions but were able to work on wet weather tyre and set-up work.
Ralph Firman joins Nick for the third and final day of the test and Jordan's last test day of the year tomorrow. It will be interesting to see the comparative times given Ralph's knowledge of the car. A downside to this is that Ralph has very little experience of the Jerez circuit.
