Jordan test day two

Jordan have continued their three day Silverstone test session with runs from both of it's race drivers, Giorgio Pantano and Nick Heidfeld. A fairly straight forward day running 142 laps with little problem, although Giorgio did stop out on track just before the end of the session.

Nick Heidfeld said, "It was a good day with very fine weather. In the morning we had a couple of unscheduled changes to rectify a small steering problem. But we got through our programme of set-up work in the morning and then concentrating on tyre tests for forthcoming races in the afternoon. We got some important data and results. At the end I was on a quick lap and unfortunately there was a red flag stopping the session but that is not unusual when there are so many teams testing."

Dominic Harlow, Giorgio Pantano's race engineer said, "We carried out Bridgestone tyre testing in preparation for the race at Silverstone next month and also did some work for various aero parts for Canada and that was very positive for data gathering. We stopped early with a gearbox problem but other than that it was a productive day."
