Mansell leaves his mark

Nigel Mansell doughnutted his way to the Regent Street start line at today's London Parade. Our Nigel took the specially liveried Number Red 5 EJ14 along the very bouncy 2 mile course as the first of 8 Grand Prix cars to grace the Capital.

Authorities estimated that 250,000 people lined the course to see and hear Formula One at its best and they would not have been disappointed, however it was not the only way to see the event.

Sky News Active covered the whole event and it was even presented by ITV's Jim Rosenthal and Tony Jardine, although it's a mystery as to why there was so very little detail about this.  Even the ITV race coverage on Sunday failed to mention this coverage.

Nevermind, it was great to see the EJ14 on the streets and with ex-world champion at the wheel, it must have been a spectacular sight in the flesh.
