One home for Jordan

An incredible race at the Belgian Spa Francorchamps circuit saw Kimi Raikonnen take the race win as only 10 out of the 20 cars finished.

Jordan suffered very early on as Giorgio Pantano was involved in a massive accident at the top of the circuits fabled Eau Rouge.  Takuma Sato's BAR speared across the track.  In the ensuing confusion, Bruni's Minardi rolled in front of the Jordan and Giorgio simply had nowhere to go.  The cars collided, connecting with the rear of Bruni's flaming Minardi.  The safety car came out for the first of three excursions.

Nick Heidfeld brought the EJ14 home, just two places out of the points.  With cars dropping out of the race all over the place, there was a distinct chance that Nick could have brought home a point for the team.  In the dying laps of the race, David Coulthard hit the rear of Christian Klien's Jaguar, however he limped back to the pit and was able to change the Mclaren's nosecone keeping himself in the race and Nick out of the points.
