With recent Jordan buy out rumours floating around on the web, concerned fans are questioning whether the team will make it through the winter and survive into 2005 and beyond.
Current rumour mongering suggests that there are two parties looking to take the team out from under Eddie's feet, we hear however that Jordan is looking for investment rather than the loss of control of his beloved Formula One team.
We asked Jordan if the could comment on the recent rumours and as ever, Jordan's ever efficient PR department replied.
"It isn't possible to tell you details of what's happening behind the scenes yet." said Jordan's spokesperson, "But Eddie is working with dedication on some business which will secure investment in the team's future and help to make Jordan more competitive. There are a number of parties interested in investing in the team and discussions are encouraging - we'll be there next year."
Very highly encouraging news from the team and something that every fan wanted to hear. We're looking forward to the next few weeks and hope that there will be some solid confirmation of the engine and investment news soon.
