Jordan has not been sold.

Jordan have denied rumours of a sale to GP2 team owner Christian Horner. Jordan have been the subject of take over rumours for the best part of the last six months, firstly by Dubai royalty and most recently the owner of the Arden Team.

As per, we've asked the team for comment.  Jordan's PR department duly replied.  "The team has not been sold.  As always we are talking to parties with an interest in and commitment to investing in the future competitiveness of the team. Unless/until something happens, there is nothing to tell."

With Horner entering Arden as a GP2 team today then there are more reasons to believe that Jordan will line up on the grid for the 2005 season.  It would be interesting to see what talks Eddie and Horner have been involved in.  Perhaps Jordan and Arden will be entering into partnership for GP2.

Meanwhile, Nick Heidfeld is to test with Williams later this week as he continues his quest for a 2005 race seat and will take to the circuit with last season's employers Jordan also joining them at the Jerez track.  Jordan are taking Christijan Albers and Robert Doornbos to the test.  The car they will run will be an interim EJ14/15.  This years chassis running with 2005 aero parts.  The engine will be a 2004 spec Cosworth engine.  No doubt, the car is undergoing a slight redesign to accommodate next seasons Toyota powerplant.
