Jordan's drivers will need $7million.

According to the Australian Herald Sun, driver Ryan Briscoe missed out on a drive for Jordan because he was unable to find the $7million asking price for a race drive in the Toyota powered Jordan EJ15.

Briscoe was given a deadline to find the cash through his backers in order to take one of the open driver spots at the Silverstone based team.

Toyota who undoubtedly pulled Jordan back from the brink refused to put up the cash for the youngsters first F1 racing season.

Briscoe will race in 2005, however this is likely to be for Chip Gianassi's Indy racing team in the US.

Meanwhile as a new year approaches, Jordan have yet to confirm their 2005 race drivers.
