Further division evident at Jordan

Further signs of trouble and division inside the Jordan Grand Prix team have emerged prior to the Qualifying session for the Canadian Grand Prix.

The team's boss, Dr Colin Kolles publicly slated one of the teams drivers telling Narain Karthikeyan that he should pick up his act after a series of setbacks in the EJ15.

It comes as no surprise then to find out that reports on other internet sites suggest that the Indian wants to leave the team at the end of the season.  Some rumours say it might happen sooner with Renault's third driver Franck Montagny about to step in to take a race seat.

Hitting back at the criticism Narain said: "I don't know what he is complaining about.  The first five races I did well and you are bound to have some bad races.  Colin must also realise that this car is really bad to drive and it is easy to make mistakes, so they should try to improve the car also."

"He (Kolles) doesn't speak to me very much any more, so that is a good thing." continued Narain.  "He thinks if he is very direct (in criticism) it helps, but sometimes it doesn't, so it's good and bad."

"Right now I just do my job and at the end of the year find a different place.  If the car is not good here, I try to do a good job with what I have, and obviously I want to be driving for a better team."

Clearly problems with the car are not lost on Kolles.  "We're realistic enough to know that the car is also not good."  he said.
