Jordan Fans Online asked Jordan if they can comment on the report that the team will be running with Cosworth engines for 2003 and that they could even be Jordan Ford in 2004.

Unfortunately, the Jordan PR department is keeping mum with respect to any deal. A Jordan spokesperson told this site "We are in the second year of a three year deal with Honda, who have stated publicly that they intend to honour the contract.  Both Jordan and Honda are looking at every way to become more competitive."

While Jordan confirm the current situation in respect to their Engine situation, the tag line that both are looking for ways "to become more competitive" leaves a doubt in my mind that Honda and Jordan will be in partnership next year.

With Honda increasingly interested in British American Racing (Their website and press releases seem to be more BAR oriented), could Jordan's way of becoming more competitive be to drop Honda themselves and look for a supply of the very under-rated but powerful Cosworth powerplant?
