Reports emerging from Hockenheim confirm that Jordan are on the hunt for a new engine supplier for 2003 fuelling rumours that Honda are about to drop the squad to concentrate on supplying BAR.

Toyota have tonight confirmed that Eddie Jordan and the team have made an approach to them for a supply of their V10 workhorse to power the EJ13 although Toyota team boss Ove Andersson has said there is no plan to make a deal.

"There is absolutely no agreement and we have no plans to supply engines to any other team at the moment," he told a news conference at the German Grand Prix when asked about Toyota supplying Jordan from 2004. "We are busy trying to get on top of our own problems and to think about supplying another team with engines at this moment in time is definitely not in our plans."

Asked whether Jordan had approached Toyota, Andersson replied simply 'yes.'
