Dimi to Coventry?

It has been made no secret that clubs have come in for Dimi after our relegation from League 1 but now things seem to be serious. It has been reported that a bid of £100 000 from Coventry City has been rejected by the club.

Dimi has now cemented his place as the Pools number one with 2 seasons of consistently good performances. He started to draw attention from higher league clubs after his remarkable playoff performances against Tranmere Rovers.

At present Coventry only have one senior keeper, Andy Marshall, at the club and Micky Adams is looking for cover and has shown serious interest in the 6"3 Greek keeper.

Dimi has been linked with several moves to Championship and even some Premiership sides. Last season it was alledged that Wigan Athletic were interested in Dimi and once again this season he has been linked with a move to the JJB. It was also rumoured that Swansea City were looking at Dimi during the Dutch Tour.

Dimi signed for Hartlepool in 2003 on a free transfer from Greek side Farense on a free transfer.

Danny Wilson has admitted that he has no intention of selling Dimi and will be hoping to strengthen his squad before Saturdays bid kick off
