Humphreys loaned out

Player of the season Ritchie Humphreys has been shipped out to Port Vale on a months loan with the possibility of it being increased to a 3 month loan.

His record at Pools is remarkable. He has won player of the year twice and has played over 200 consecutive games for the club. He was one of the members of our 2003 promotion side and our 2005 playoff final side and he has been sent out on loan to Port Vale for one month.

Humphrey's started training with his new team mates today and is in contention for Port Vale's game against Blackpool. Danny Wilson says that "He's been out of the side for a couple of weeks but its important that Ritchie gets games."

Last season Pools were relegated by Port Vale on the last day of the season and they are flying high in League 1 currently 3rd with 12 points.
