After losing against Lincoln last Friday Pools will be looking to set the record straight and shoot back into the playoffs with a win against Stockport. Pools top scorer Daly will be a man on a mission as he comes against his former club
Hartlepool will be looking to put the record straight and get back into the playoff positions on Saturday when Stockport County come to town.
Stockport County have struggled so far this season but they won their last game against Barnet 2-0. Last time Pools played Stockport it was in League 1. Pools were on there way to the playoffs and County were on their way down but a goal by Warren Feeney gave County all 3 points.
Pools are once again without Tony Sweeney but Mark Tinkler has returned after playing 90 minutes for the reserves against Hull. Darren Williams is also out injured and that could see club captain Micky Barron reclaim his place.
Pools fans should be able to expect goals off Jon Daly as he comes against his former club and Chris Turner also was manager of Stockport of a while but returned to Pools not long after being sacked as the manager at Edgely Park
