Pools sign Duffy

Hartlepools have made Darryl Duffy their newest signing as he joins the club for 2 months on loan. Danny Wilson has brought him to The Vic in wake of Poor performances upfront

Hartlepool have loaned Hull City striker Darryl Duffy for 2 months in wake of poor performances by our strikers in recent games.

Darryl Duffy has struggled to cement his place in the first team at the KC Stadium but with his pace and ability Wilson expects him to be a big hit with Pools fans.

Pools strikers have struggled this season and goals have been sparse and Wilson has now decided to take action.

Pools top striker this season is Jon Daly with 8 goals but 7 of them came within 1 week. Joel Porter has scored 5 this season. The problem seems to be that every time one of our strikers get the ball they have their back to goal and the resulting pass is always backwards. Long gone have the days of Porter and Boyd flicking the ball for each other to run on to
