Pools will go into the game as favourites after winning their last 3 games but it will be no walkover as Bristol have only lost once in their last 8 outings

3 wins in 3 will have Pools full of confidence before Saturdays trip the Pirates. Bristol are just beneath Hartlepool in the league with only 1 point seperating the sides.

The last time the two sides met at the Memorial Stadium it was a Bristol win against top of the table against Pools. But that was the only time Bristol had beaten Pools in 8 games.

Hartlepool could still be without Brown and Daly but Tony Sweeney is up for selection after serving a 1 match ban against Notts County.

It could also be a rough afternoon for Wilson who used to manage Bristol City.
