Will Duffy Stay?

Darryl Duffy has developed into a fan favourite at The Vic but a return to Hull looms unless Hartlepool can extend the loan or better yet, sign him. But it wont b easy as lack of fund and other clubs after him will make it difficult

Hartlepool seemed to have found their problem to our previous goal problem but will the man who solved it being a Poolie for much longer. I think it is quite clear I am on about Darryl Duffy. He has managed to get 4 goals in his 6 games at Pools and has become some what of a fan favourite.

Hull's caretaker boss Phil Brown (former Pools player) was at the Vic on friday night to watch him. And Duffy managed to get on the scoresheet. A double boost for Brown will have been Hull's 5-1 win on Saturday over Cardiff.

Aswell as the possibility of a return to Hull, Swansea are supposed to one of several clubs who are interested in signing the on-loan hit man.

It is thought though that Hartlepool would only be able to extend the loan as Duffy as the club will not be able to afford his asking price of £250 000 and his wages.
