Andy Monkhouse will be returning to Swindon at the end of his loan spell unless Pools are willing to put in a substantial offer for the left winger
Andy Monkhouse’s loan with Pool’s is coming to an end and Paul Sturrock has told Hartlepool United Monkhouse will be returning to the County Ground unless Pools are willing to put in a substantial offer.
Monkhouse has yet to suffer defeat with Pools and even scored the winner away to Notts County. He has put in several solid performances on the left wing linking up well with Ritchie Humphreys and the two left sided players have started to develop a dangerous partnership.
Monkhouse only joined Swindon in the summer from Rotherham and featured in the opening day game against Hatlepool. He was allowed to leave by the old Swindon management team of Wise and Poyet but the new manager Sturrock is obviously impressed with Monkhouse and wants him back despite him saying he enjoying his football up here and would like to stay
