Hartlepool have matched the all time record of going 8 games of winning without conceding a single goal. A run which is only matched by Barnsley and Wigan
The only previous record set by Hartlepool was going the most games without winning (18 games) but now Hartlepool have matched the football league record of going 8 games of winning without conceding a goal.
Hartlepool share the record with Barnsley who set the record in 1954/1955 and Wigan who matched the record in 2002/2003.
The run of wins started against Accrington Stanley back in November but the clean sheet run started against Wycombe when we won 2-0.
