Monkhouse signs

Hartlepool have signed Andy Monkhouse on a permanent deal. Monkhouse spent just over a month on loan at the club and after much speculation he has now signed a permanent contract

Hartlepool have added Andy Monkhouse to their squad full time after they signed him on a permanent deal. Monkhouse was on loan at the club throughout December. 

"We liked what he did when he was here on loan, so did the fans and we're delighted to welcome him back."

The 26 year old was on loan with the club from the end of November to New Years Day. During which time he played 8 games in which Pools won all 8 and didnt concede a goal and Monkhouse got 2 goals.

"He adds a great balance on the left for us and adds competition for places in the squad which is essential."
