Hartlepools unbeaten run was extended last week after Pools drew 1-1 with Wrexham. Hartlepool will now be looking at the clubs unbeaten record of 22 games which was set in 2001.
At the beginning of the season Bury were firm favourites for relegation and after a poor start they looked like they could be on their was down but they have turned things around and are currently 16th in the league.
Hartlepool beat Bury 1-0 last month after Tony Sweeney scored just 6 seconds into the second half. Last time Bury travelled to the Vic they were armed with one Micky Nelson who single handedly kept Pools at bay in a 0-0 draw
Michael Nelson is returning to the side after serving a one match ban and he is expected to partner Ben Clarke at centre back with Liddle returning to centre midfield.
