Top of the table clash which is more likely to end 0-0 than anything else. The two best defenses in the league will be on show in the huge game
The game that could define the season. A win will move Pools within 3 points of the league leaders. Any other results would see Walsall increase their grip on the league.
Both of the these sides were relegated last season but now they are both fighting not just for promotion but to win the league. Walsall have been very successful this season and have only lost 3 times all season.
Earlier in the season Hartlepool went down 2-0 to the Saddlers after a poor first half and then a missed penalty. Last season the score finished 1-1 at the Vic but Walsall won 1-0 at the Bescot.
The Vic will be blessed with the presence of Chris Westwood tomorow for only the second time since he left Pools. Westy was at Pools for 6 years and the left the club for personal reasons back in 2005. On his return to the Vic he recieved a heros welcome and than showed his gratitude by scoring against us.
Hartlepool will have Richie Barker up for selection after missing the Swindon game through suspension and Willie Boland may return to the side after being sidelined for a few weeks with injury. Walsall could be without Ian Roper and Anthony Gerrard who are both minor doubts for the game
