Mac Town preview

Hartlepool have already played Mac Town twice this season, but times away and we have yet to beat them. A 0-0 draw in the league and a 2-1 defeat in the cup will give Pools plenty of incentive for revenge

Hartlepool United could go top the league tonight if we win and Walsall drop points. Hartlepool's unbeaten run has now reached 16 games and 14 of them have been wins with Torquay becoming the latest victims of Pools on Saturday.

Hartlepool have new injuries to worry about going into tonights game but will welcome Ben Clarke back who missed the long trip to Torquay through injury and once again it looks like Willie Boland will miss out but a late decision will be made on his fitness.

Macclesfield come into the game just outside the relegation zone which is quite an achievement considering they were only on 5 points in October. Mac Town could be without McNeil, Simon Wiles and Jamie Tolley going into tonights game.
