Hartlepool can go 6 points clear today if we win and Walsall lose. Hereford will be no pushover though as they are now unbeaten in 4 which is slim picking compared to Pools 18 games unbeaten

Hartlepool will have plenty of incentives to win todays game. The chance to go 6 points clear will probaby be top the list, but today could also see Pools extend the unbeaten run to 19 games. Hartlepool will also want to put behind them the result from earlier in the season against Hereford when a poor display cost Pools the game as we crashed to a 3-1 defeat.

Hereford returned to the football league this season after spending 9 years in the Conference. Manager Graham Turner has a fully fit side to pick from for todays game whilst Danny Wilson is still without Willie Boland. There is some good news though as Joel Porter is starting training again after a long term knee injury.

Hartlepool have the curse of manager of the month to beat after Wilson finally won the award after being over looked in December and January.
