Porter Return

Joel Porter played 25 minutes against Rotherham for the reserves. Michael Mackay also made his debut for the club in a game which was finally won 3-2 by Pools

Hartlepool fans can now start counting down the weeks until Joel Porter makes his return to the Pools attacking line up. Joel Porter has been out since September afer undergoing knee surgery. Joel Porter has struggles with a knee injury since the playoff final at Cardiff.

As well as Porter making his return, new signing Michael Mackay made his debut for the club. Mackay signed for the club in February from Consett.

The game was eventually won 3-2. Pools goals coming though Lee Bullock, Michael Rae and Mark Tinkler. Jim Provett also saved a penalty in the game
