Stevenage Score We Don't

I saw Eifion Williams coming out of the little Tesco's at Throston the other day. He looked as fit as ever and my goodness we could do with him in the team right now - it is now eight games since we scored. That's 720 minutes plus injury times ...
It was the same old story at Stevenage except this time we played with more purpose and did actually create some chances with the best going to Luke James. Unfortunately his effort just nicked the wrong side of the post.
Inevitably when you are playing well, but not scoring, the opposition nick one. This time it came from Max Ehmer with a quarter of an hour to go - the defender latching onto a rebound to give Flinders no chance.
At least this ytime the lads rolled up their sleeves and worked hard and didn' blame the ref for their mistakes. The display against MK Dons was one of the most petulant I have seen and, frankly, embarassing at times. There's no point screaming at refs and linesmen when you know perfectly well you've just done something daft.
There's nobody left at the Vic who thinks we won't go down and the scoreless draw coming up against Bury this weekend will be the mathematical certainty.
So let's start planning for next season. The bench at Stevenage was certainly inmteresting ... McHugh, Buddle, Rowbotham, Rutherford, Hawkins, James, Boagey.
Is there an Eifion among them?
