Away The Lads
Banned

Three away games in a week looks a tall order for a Pools side which is getting things together but still showing no signs of having any luck...
Last week's improved display was not reflected in the 3-1 defeat by Oxford.
It is said that the Ref admitted to Craig Hignett that he got three important decisions wrong in the last ten mins - the pen, the sending off of Stevie Howard and not giving us a penalty which the Ref thought at the time was a dive.
Howard is now banned, which at least removes the temptation to take on a physical and direct Manfield at their own game.
We are better when we get the ball down and play and if we had a natural goalscorer our ratio of dangerous balls into the box to goals would be much better.
Luck does change. Four points from the away trips to Mansfield and Exeter would be great. Knowing us we won't get any league points but we will win at Sheffield United in the cup. C'est la vie.
