Who would have thought it after our disastrous start? Three home wins on the trot and only three points off the play-offs ...
To be honest that's what you should expect from a side which was playing at a higher level last season, but if we keep this up we stand a fair chance of being back there next season.
Like Wimbledon the Daggers were a more than decent side who had not lost away since August. However, the strength of character we have developed under Colin Cooper was there to be seen once again and we came through 2-1 thanks to an Andy Monkhouse header at the far post from Matty Dolan's corner.
James Poole had given us a 12th-minute lead but Dagenham equalised in the 55th minute through a very handy curler from Zavon Hines.
This week we're back at the Vic again with Notts County - bottom of League one - the visitors in the first round of the FA Cup. That's a game we can go out and enjoy and let's face it we are overdue a decent cup run and the money it brings.
