Sam Collins and Steve Howard are being lined up as reinforcements as an uncompromising Northampton Town head for the Vic ..

The bottom side have not been top of the disciplinary charts this season and Pools expect Aidy Boothroyd's side to try to put us off our normal footballing game.

The starting line up will probably be unchanged with the big lads on the bench in case it gets tough in the trenches.

However, we need to concentrate on getting back to our energetic free flowing style. Three games in six days - plus a lot of travelling- took its toll last week, but an eight day rest and a home fixture against the bottom club should provide the perfect opportunity to get the play-offs back in our sights.

An early goal wuld be good...
