After City went ahead with a superb overhead kick from skipper Carl Baker we gradually grew into the game against the former FA Cup winners.
City had some decent chances in the first half but we could have gne in level after Burgess went close right on the half time whistle.
Monky was the dangerman in front of goal in the second and very nearly got us level when he met a Dolan cross 10 minutes into the half.
Jonathan Franks made a difference when he came on as sub. He latched onto a loose ball and forced Seaborne into a foul on the edge of the area. Unfortunately Dolan’s free kick soared high and over the bar [above.]
The equaliser came when Dolan put in a superb ball to Franks who put in a cross which was met by a bullet header from Andy Monkhouse.
