Last Home Game Of 2013

Brad Walker's arrival on the scene has been one of the few bright spots of 2013 and he could well start the last home game of the year .
The 17 year has had two training camps with England Under 18's in recent weeks, and was the midfeld link man in a decent display against Coventry in midweek.
He now needs some game time, starting with Burton Albion this week, if he is to achieve his potential and, being realistic, put a few quid in Pools' coffers.
The other selection dilemma for Cooper and Hignett is what to do about Luke James and James Poole. Both have been rested in recent games after taking the brunt of the punishment so far this season, and that could continue this week with Monkhouse and Franks starting the game up front.
The visitors are in sixth place and only three places behind the leader and will pose a stiff challenge - although they haven't been free scoring of late. Their last six games have seen four 1-0 wins and two 1-1 draws. So all we have to do is score twice.
Pools possible: Flinders, Duckworth, Baldwin, Burgess, Austin, Compton, Dolan, Walton, Walker, Monkhouse, Franks. Subs: Rafferty, Collins, Holden, Sweeney, Poole, James, Rodney.
