Pools must get maximum points for this week's visits of Mansfield and Cheltenham if we are to retain any hopes of getting into the play offs ...
We are now 11th after failing to take any points at Oxford - we did enough to win if the truth be told - and are now six points off the play-offs.
Our away record is getting worse by the week with only two points from the last five away games, and we would realistically have to get six from the last three trips -to Plymouth, Southend and Dagenham and Reddvriodge - if we are to stand any chance.
We will be without Simon Walton who managed to have one of his rushes of blood and got himself sent off at the Kassam. However, he will be available for sdaturday's visit of Cheltenham.
Michael Duckworth is likely to start one against Mansfield with Andy Monkhouse and Neil Austin both still out.
Mansfield have a couple of injury problem with centre-back Ryan Tafazolli out with a foot and Ben Hutchinson ruled out for the remainder of the season with a hamstring injury.
