Thunderbirds Are Go!

The fixtures computer has dealt loyal Poolies a big blow with the last away game as far away as it could possibly be. But they will be at Plymouth dressed as characters from Thunderbirds and boosting both the club's and the town's reputation across the country ..
Fortunately, they can relax and make a weekend of it after the heroics of last Monday, which secured another season in the Football League.
Hopefully the players will not relax too much as they owe it to the fans, and themselves, to finish a disappointing season on a high.
Simon Walton is out after his appeal against Monday's red card was thrown out. Those of us on the Mill House side may wonner why anyone bothered to appeal in the first place. Walton had been our stand out player until he went over the top but over the top he certainly went.
Sunderland loanee Connor Oliver takes his place. No doubt Colin Cooper toyed with the idea of bringing in one of the up and coming youth players, but Oliver deserves a run out after coming in to help shore up the squad. If he is anything like his teammate Scott Harrison he will be a good 'un.
