Two Big Games

The two home games this week could hardly be more important in the whole history of Hartlepool United - not to put pressure on anyone ..

The 1-0 defeat at Portsmouth was to be expected - if the truth be told.

The fact we didnt' have a shot until the 70th minutes is worrying for those of us who couldn't get there,  but the fact we only conceded one goal is a bonus.

Matthew Bates was injured early in that game and is doubtful for the visit of Northampton.  Fearthertone came on in his place and had a cracking game according to Ronnie Moore.

The big question is will Marvin Morgan start the game. He was out injured for some ytiem before signing from Plymnout and was withdrawn just befoe Pompey's goal with Mooree sayinbg he was woorrred that hjis lack of match fitness would cause him to mdo some ligament damage.

Three games in one week might therefore be too much to ask with Shrewsbury the visitors on Saturday.

Ronnie has some big decisions to make.
