No Luck

Craig Hignett has certainly got Pools playing better and looking more organised but he isn't what you could call a "lucky manager" ...

Against Stevenage we should have had the win with umpteen chances once we had the benefit of the gale behind us only to fall to a sucker punch.

It was similar at Luton where Jackson's header equalised a dubious penalty when the ball struck Nicky Featherstone's elbow.

With Brad Walker getting stronger throughout the game - what a bonus he could be - we played really well, and worth at least a point, until Mackail-Smith lofted one over Carroll for a 2-1 win for the Hatters.

Again it was self-inflicted from sloppy defending and something needs to be done about the soft goals we are giving away.

Leaders Northampton are at the Vic this Saturday and they will cruelly expose any ditherings.
