Hignett Brings In Giant

Daft goals have cost us badly this season. Quite why is obviously beyond everyone but Hignett has reacted by bringing in a 6ft 7in experienced centre back in Dan Jones ..

The former Doncaster defender is now 35 and has been training with Pools for a few weeks.

If Matthew Bates is still unfit he'll come in alongside Adam Jackson where his presence and experience will be a bonus.

What we need at the back is consistency and understanding. Each week we have one player who is outstanding and three others who are fine until they make a costly mistake.

Wheover plays in te back four at Barnet lets hope they all click.
