How things change. A few weeks ago both Hartlepool and York fans were eyeing this week's "derby" game at the Vic with some trepidation - it looked like the proverbial relegation six poimter.

Now there's only the visitors who are deperate for the points but it has to be said they are sinking fast.

They won't have been cheered up by the news that Pools' player of the moment is back. Nathan Thomas has destroyed defences recently and he was sorely missed in the 1-0 defeat at Notts County on Tuesday.

Jake Carroll and Matthew Bates also look like returning to a much more relaxed and confident Pools side.
