It's been a funny pre-season with the lack of goals a worry but we have learned one or two positive things ..
Firstly we have a btter squad and a better shape than we did last season, and secondly we are much more likely to create chances when Nathan Thomas is on the pitch.
Once again we only came alive upfront when he came on to run at Scunthorpe's defence and we should have equalised their first half goal.
Carl Magnay went off injured and that's major worry, but the form of Baldwin and Woods in midfield is big bonus.
