Amond At Last

You could hgave mortgage on it. Padraig Amond has not set the Northern Power and Gas Stadium on fire (good job considering its new name) but he wins the game on his return to Grimsby.

Amond's two goals put Pools firmly in the driving seat. The first was a simple knock in after Richard's shot rebounded off the post and the second a neat glancing header.

To capt it all the in-form Nathan Thomas scored a wonderful third when he turned on edge of the box and flighted a lob into the top corner.

Pools were worth their three nil and are now unbeaten in four games and starting to hit the net.

Most importantly we have stopped giving away soft goals.
