Ferrari will be bringing a plethora of new parts for the 248 F1, for the French Grand Prix at Magny Cours this weekend. Reportedly the new car will be a significant step forward, however Ferrari's Technical Director Ross Brawn insists that this is not the "B-spec" 248 F1.

The most significant upgrade has been suggested as a 20HP boost in engine performance as well as significantly improved Bridgestone tyres. Other upgrades are reportedly to come in the form of a new engine cover and a new front wing.

After a very successful United States Grand Prix, Ferrari is keen to build on that win and continue to close in on Fernando Alonso and Renault. If these new updates work as well as possible, the Scuderia will be in excellent form to close down the gap to the Championship leaders.
