Dry Weather
A Must For
Schumacher In China

Michael Schumacher has admitted that he is very much holding out for dry running in China come Sunday. If the race is run under wet conditions, the Ferrari/Bridgestone package will certainly not be able to keep up with the Michelin runners, which could seriously hurt Schumacher's title chances, so late in the season.

Michael Schumacher has stated that he hopes Ferrari's weather man is correct in his prediction of dry weather for tomorrow's race. Unfortunately, many other teams have reported that they are predicting a very wet race tomorrow. This means a difficult race for Ferrari as Technical Director Ross Brawn explains:

"In the dry or in mixed conditions we have a chance, because in the dry Michael is quickest."

If it does rain tomorrow, Ferrari and all of the Bridgestone runners will seriously be hampered in their race chances. If it does not rain tomorrow, Michael Schumacher will still have his work cut out for him, starting back in 6th, with his main rival Fernando Alonso, on pole position.
