When asked, who will be the team to beat next year, Toyota's Jarno Trulli says it will be Ferrari. He seems to think that Ferrari will still have the edge over everyone in the field, due to the Bridgestone/Ferrari relationship.

In 2007

Jarno Trulli told the Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper:

"Whoever drives for Ferrari next season will have a big advantage, I don't think Michael Schumacher or Ross Brawn leaving will change things that much, even Felipe Massa has won in the current Ferrari."

Jarno, like many others, see the Relationship that Ferrari has with Bridgestone to be very advantageous. And with Bridgestone being the only tyre supplier in 2007, this may work out quite well for the Scuderia.

Championship hopes for Alonso aren't looking too good for the 2007 season, with the move to the Mclaren enterprise. Ever since the departure of Adrain Newey, Mclaren have yet to build a race winning challenger. Alonso is accustomed to having a car that is designed completely around him, and his driving style. Now Mclaren have to guess what his driving style is like and have to estimate the correct type of suspension that can cope with his extremely aggressive turn in. Kimi on the othher hand is said to have a very similar, if not the same driving styles as Michael. This will benefit him greatly, as there will be minimal change of car design.

It is impossible to tell who will come out on top, but this will make winter testing more exciting that it has ever been, with all the top drivers changing teams.
