Kimi Pleased With Scuderia Debut

New Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen, revealed that he was quite pleased with his debut with the Italian squad at his first test yesterday. The Finn also announced that he would drive the new F2007 for the first time, sometime next week.

| New Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen, revealed that he was quite pleased with his debut with the Italian squad at his first test yesterday. Unfortunately, Raikkonen's initial running was hampered by poor weather, as was his second test today. This is what Kimi had to say about his first experience driving a Ferrari Formula 1 car: "The first impression of the car was good even if I would have preferred more laps in the dry. It was nice. I was a bit excited but it was nice to be back in a Formula 1 car again." The Finn also announced that he would drive the new F2007 for the first time, sometime next week. Kimi had this to say about the F2007: "I have only seen it. Next week I will drive it and then we will know some more." This statement was later confirmed by Ferrari Press Director Luca Colajanni. |
