| Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo believes that many have been too quick to praise the Scuderia's 2007 pace. The Italian believes his squad is quick, but that they should remain cautious regardless. This is what Luca had to say: "I feel that there is too much optimism about us and I don't like it." In a completely unrelated issue, the Ferrari President also stated that Ferrari will not be listed on the stock exchange and that it may never in the future: "It won't happen for many years. There is no decision and no need." Now the later is certain good news for Ferrari fans. The Ferrari way of doing things and the passion the team represents will not be effected by outsider influence. Certainly a positive for Ferrari road cars and racecars. Some fans may think Luca's comment about being cautious on Ferrari's pace to be a negative suggestion. It may be, though it is likely that he is just trying to settle things down and encourage the team to not get carried away. |
