| Felipe Massa has placed pole position firmly in his scope, knowingly this will give him the best chance of taking victory in Australia. Massa looks to be the strongest driver so far this weekend and a win is looking likely for the Brazilian. This is what Felipe had to say about the weekend so far: "Sure, this is just Friday but it was nice to be on top. It is important to us to be ahead of the rest and at the moment we're just doing very well. I wouldn't bet on anyone for pole, but I hope people will put their money on me and win." Ferrari certainly does seem to be in control so far in 2007. Regardless, taking pole position will certainly make things easier for the Scuderia. So will it be Massa or Raikkonen? Massa certainly seems to be the one to beat so far, but it is only a matter of time before Kimi Raikkonen adapts to his new car. However, that time is not yet and my money is certainly on Massa to take pole position and the race victory as well. |
