| Kimi Raikkonen has revealed that he was so in control of the Australian Grand Prix, that he almost fell asleep. This is what Kimi had to say about his race in Melbourne: "We knew that our rhythm in the race was very competitive. I did not have to go to the limit, but maybe if the radio had worked I would have gone faster. On one occasion, just about ten laps before the end the race, I almost fell asleep! I got distracted, my concentration levels dropped a bit and I blocked the wheels and took turn number 3 slightly too wide. Even without radio I knew that they were saying: 'Kimi, wake up!' " The Finn and the Ferrari team did not even have to push to the limit in the race, which should be of great concern to the other teams. When a driver is so dominant in a race that he starts to fall asleep, the other drivers are certainly in trouble. |
