BMW driver Robert Kubica, does not believe that Formula 1 is any different without Michael Schumacher racing in the series. Kubica believes the competition is just as tough without the 7-Time World Champion competing. This is what the Pole had to say about Michael's absence:

"I think someone might think that it will easier for other drivers to win. But you still have to beat the other 21 drivers on the grid to finish first, and that's what counts.

Obviously, Michael has left a gap. But you quickly become accustomed to the new situation. Also, there was a lot of excitement without him. For me, his retirement hasn't changed a lot. Maybe Nick had a little more work to do being the best placed German driver. But I think this will have been an agreeable duty for him."

Now I can just see the Schumacher fanatics jumping on Kubica's comments, assuming they are some sort of an insult to Michael. I am indeed a Schumacher fanatic, though I do not see Robert's comments as negative in anyway. Michael was a very impressive driver, likely the best of all time, but things move on. Formula 1 is no exception.
